The custom aquarium installation specialists at Normal Aquatics were recently hired by the owners of The Capitol Theater in Port Chester, NY to install into their VIP room a 300 gallon coral reef saltwater aquarium with a custom-built road case stand. The aquarium features an energy efficient LED lighting system that emits a vibrant and natural light, which creates shadows and depth throughout the tank as well as the promotion of coral growth. A powerful dual sump filtration system is located in the custom aquarium stand, which works as the one of the main sources of water filtration for the aquarium; this houses the protein skimmer, ultraviolet sterilizer, phosphate reactor as well as main pump. The custom aquarium is also inhabited with over 300 lbs of live rock and a 3 inch live sand bed, which service as the primary source of biological filtration. The aquarium houses a variety of live corals, invertebrates, and saltwater reef fish to keep the aquarium vibrant and beautiful at all times.
